Cursive Writing for Students
the Foundation of Language
Cursive writing is one of the most important skills a young person can learn. It increases retention, makes study time more effective, stimulates brain synapses and the synchronicity
between both sides of the brain, and diminishes the issues associated with dyslexia and dysgraphia.
In this workbook, students will learn a beginner’s form of cursive, which they can use as a foundation to learn more advanced styles later, such as Spencerian. As each letter of the alphabet is studied, students are tasked with connecting letters to form words that include all previously reviewed letters. Finally, students are tasked with applying their writing skills to the page by practicing writing motivational quotes from esteemed historical figures such as Nelson Mandela, Phil Fontaine, Malcom X, and Martin Luther King Jr.
Cursive Writing for students doesn’t just teach them how to write; it also teaches them about critical figures from history. This isn’t your average cursive writing book; it also acts as a gateway for youth to learn about important historical figures.
